A loo with a view?
After increasing numbers of public urination in Manchester, ‘pee pods’ have been introduced to reduce people revealing themselves in the street.
The toilets, which are made up of four plastic urinals, were installed on Friday evenings and then taken away on Monday morning, as a trial for the ideal.
The council have been so impressed, however, that they have decided to keep the pee-pods on a permanent basis after they had dramatically reduced the amount of people ‘relieving themselves’ in public.
In the six months running up to the trail pee-pods, Manchester police handed out 124 fixed fines at £80 each for the offence.
What do you think of the pee-pods?
