  • In recent years, significant numbers of public toilets have been closed down
  • We need more and better toilets
  • Let's stop the rot

Our mission is to represent the interests and aspirations of 'away from home' toilet providers, suppliers and users of all types and to act as the catalyst for change in the pursuit of standards of excellence in all areas of public toilet provision and management.

News
Good news for BTA Political Campaign

The Communities and Local Government Department have now published their Strategic Guide, entitled ‘Improving Public Access to Better Quality Toilets’.

This can be viewed/downloaded here.

The CLG Press Release issued to the media on 6th March can also be viewed/downloaded.

The Author of the Guide will be explaining the background and contents to our Special Members' meeting being held at The Holiday Inn Hotel, Stratford—upon—Avon on Friday 4th April. Members have already been advised about this meeting but please contact us if you require any further details.

After ten years of campaigning, the BTA has finally received some recognition for its efforts, which, of course, is good news for everybody — not least Members of the Association. There will be many more developments following the publication of the Government's Strategic Guide, so, if you are not already a Member, now is the time join.
