The British Toilet Association runs an annual Innovation Awards
Scheme, covering all types of 'away from home' toilet. Read
about the 2003 Innovation Awards winners...
There are currently three categories of Awards:
- Product Innovation
- Service Innovation
- Cleaning Management
A maximum of three 'Innovation Awards' are presented in each
category, each year, at the British Toilet Association annual
Conference dinner.
In addition, there is one 'Special
Award' each year, presented to an organisation, or individual,
for an outstanding contribution made to raising washroom standards.
Judging for the annual Innovation Awards is based primarily on
observations made by Loo of the Year Awards Grading Inspectors,
as they assess Awards entries during the previous year, supported
by referrals or recommendations.
The Innovation Awards are designed to focus attention on individuals,
companies or organisations who are providing creative, or innovative
solutions to the various aspects of washroom design, supply and
cleaning management.
